You do get the sense they all want to sell you the undercoating...

“It will pay for itself when it comes time to sell!”

To me Buttigieg is the most car salesmany of the people at that debate. K lobuchar maybe seems like the online sales person who tells you that she can’t legally give you a price over email, you need to come into the dealership. I’m not sure it’s a type, but Biden reminds of the Ford dealer manager who stalked around their upper level balcony while I was there, ignoring that no one was helping me, and the crappy dealership experience in general.

My Honda dealer does this, so annoying.

Talking with service customers can generate some sales..but usually not on oil change customers

There’s a dry erase board on the side wall of the Honda dealer I bought my car at in a service area hallway . They actually write down every day the cars they need for the used lot, so any time one of those comes in for service, they hit up the owner looking to get them to trade in on something else. It’s right in the open too, but I imagine if the average person just sees a sign that says 2015-2017 CRV 6, 2016-2018 Civic 4, they might not really know what it is.

That is horrible, i hate it i am here for service not to get in another car payment. I made sure to write a review about how horrible this tactic was.

Nah, Biden seems nice and friendly enough to not just stand there watching you being ignored…but certainly out of touch enough to drag you along to show you the really cool new features of a car – and “show off” by bragging about how this fancy thing called Bluetooth works, and then miserably fail by not being able to figure out how to connect his phone to it.

That sounds like the establishment Dems as a whole, funny.

If Buttigieg’s health plan is any indication, he’s the sales guy who calls you after you buy the car to tell you that they messed up the paperwork and you need to come back in and sign for a new (higher) price.

In general I’d agree you’re unfortunately right. Better than the guy openly trying to sell you a car while cutting the brake lines on said car though?

Definitely.  And the customer buying the car with cut brake lines is excited about it, and sees it as a feature, only “takers” would expect a non-sabotaged car.

This might be the greatest line I've ever read on this subject.  It works from every angle.

“ Your costs per family will go down $2500 per year!”

It’s universal.  Right up there with “No.  It’s just a cold sore...”
